New Tape Exhibits Outstanding Sealing Qualities Yet is Lightweight and Flexible

Pres-On P9400 excellent for HVAC sealing, automotive, weather stripping, gasketing

ADDISON, IL, June 18, 2009 — Pres-On, one of the world's leading sources of advanced adhesive product technology, today introduced a new semi-closed cell crushed EPDM tape that combines the flexibility of a standard open cell foam tape with the outstanding sealing qualities of closed cell foam tapes.

Available in a variety of convenient roll widths, lengths and thicknesses, Pres-On P9400 seals out damaging dust, wind, water and noise. It is excellent for filling joints and spaces, as well as for sealing HVAC installations, mounting auto trim, gasketing, thermal insulation, and weather stripping. Because it is soft and lightweight, P9400 is easy to work with and compresses without effort, so it naturally minimizes or completely eliminates vibration.
