PBTP-20 tape is self wound and coated on one side with an acrylic adhesive. An extremely economical alternative to traditional plastic zippers in the manufacture of plastic resealable bags. Half the price of zippers and no special equipment is needed.

PBTP-20 is used with adhesive closure bags. Low slip or no slip films are recommended. Corona treatment will improve adhesion. The tape can be easily cut with a hot knife. Pres-On can supply a liner to place over the exposed adhesive for applications requiring a liner.

Pres-On PBTP-67 is a transfer tape with an unsupported adhesive that is designed to distort and tear film up to 3 Mils (75 microns) thick.

PBTP-67 is used as an aggresive adhesive for the permanent sealing of paper and plastic envelopes. Low slip or no slip films are recommended. A Corona treatment will improve adhesion. In application to plastic films, the manufacturer is required to have cold knife cutting capabilities to cut the tape.

PB200-167C is a laminating film consisting of PB-ZSA laminating adhesive on the unwind side and PB-PSA on the user side. PB-ZSA is a soft aggressive acrylic adhesive that adheres to a large variety of foams, corks, felts and films. PB-PSA is a removable acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that does not build over time. It will hold moderate loads and ultimately removes cleanly from most surfaces up to 6 months - 1 year depending on the application. It has a low initial grab, which allows the tape to be repositioned. As an Acrylic Adhesive, it has excellent environmental resistance and aging properties. It will easily hold 1/2 lb per every square inch of tape used.

Thoroughly clean contact surface before use. Once tape has been applied, it cannot be removed and reused. Therefore, position tape carefully, assuring that it is in contact with all surfaces. If tape is misaligned, remove used unit, discard and repeat application with new unit. Test product for system compatibility as individual application conditions can impact results.
